The government has added three new features to the mObywatel application. Take advantage of e.g. pensioners

The Ministry of Digitization has been developing the mObywatel application for several years, gradually adding new documents to the program. Currently, in mObywatel – in addition to the ID card and driving license – we will find e.g. registration card, Big Family card, school and student ID, penalty points, e-prescription or COVID vaccination certificate.

Three new ID cards in mObywatel

Now, in the mObywatel application, it is possible to add three new documents to the website. The first is a pensioner’s ID card, i.e. a card confirming the right to take advantage of discounts for pensioners. In addition, the rulers added the possibility of associating the application with the attorney’s and MP’s ID, i.e. documents confirming the fact of performing these professions.

The new functions have been implemented in the latest version of the mObywatel application, which has already appeared in Google Play and AppStore. We checked and indeed the pensioner’s and advocate’s ID cards are already available for adding. For unknown reasons, however, the application lacks the option of adding a parliamentary ID card. However, this feature may be rolled out to users later.

The rulers remind that all documents stored in the mObywatel application have the same legal force as plastic ones and can be presented in all places that accept traditional ID cards. Some ID cards still require use with a physical ID card, but this is to change when the mObywatel application law comes into force.

If your application still cannot add new cards, you need to update the program to the latest version. All users of the application should be able to use the new features that have just been added.
