According to the author, the release of new Samsung flagships was disrupted, as the company could not decide on their cost. In this regard, the corporation postponed the presentation, which was previously scheduled for early 2023.

The source noted that Samsung executives want to offset the production costs of the Galaxy S22 phones and set a competitive price at the same time. The specialist said that at the moment the company decided to release the starting Galaxy S23 at a price of $799, Galaxy S23 + – $899, Galaxy S23 Ultra – $1199. In this case, the prices for the flagship devices of the Korean brand will remain unchanged compared to the prices for the Galaxy S22 line. However, the Galaxy S23+ will be $100 cheaper than the Galaxy S22+.

“Undoubtedly, setting a price is a difficult process for any company launching a major product, and especially difficult in a competitive and crowded smartphone market,” the journalists emphasized.
