SlashGear: Tecno launches Phantom X2 Pro smartphone with pop-up camera
A flagship smartphone with a retractable camera has been created. This is reported by SlashGear.
A phone equipped with a main retractable camera was announced by Tecno. The Phantom X2 Pro received 50 and 13 megapixel sensors, the main lens of the device can be extended from the body to provide 2.5x hybrid zoom.
The company explained that the larger sensor size, wider aperture, and high pixel density allow the camera to collect more light and deliver sharper bokeh in photos. Media journalists compared the unique feature of the Tecno-built flagship to pocket cameras popular in the 2000s.
The Phantom X2 Pro also came out with a 6.8-inch OLED display with support for a frequency of 120 hertz, a Dimensity 9000 processor, 12 gigabytes of RAM and 256 gigabytes of internal memory. The smartphone is equipped with a battery capacity of 5160 milliamp-hours.
The cost of the smartphone is 930 dollars or about 56 thousand rubles. The timing of the appearance of the device on sale is not disclosed.
In November, Xiaomi released a concept smartphone with a detachable camera. According to Bloomberg journalists, the device is actually a hybrid of a smartphone and a camera.
