FoneArena: Samsung foldable smartphones have become popular with corporate users
Samsung said that the brand’s foldable smartphones have become in demand among corporate users. This is reported by FoneArena.
The company noted that they found new buyers of flagship folding devices among employees of companies and corporations. Samsung estimates that between January and October 2022, the number of Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip shipped doubled compared to last year. Thus, the IT giant sold 105 percent more products among business clients than in the same period in 2021.
According to the company, foldable smartphones have become popular with business customers because of the large screen, compactness, and multitasking features. “The larger screen of the Galaxy Z Fold4 gives you more workspace that is ideal for using desktop PC features,” Samsung said.
The material says that most often folding devices were in demand in companies providing financial services. Compact, foldable devices allow employees to work from home.
In early October, analysts at IDC said shipments of foldable smartphones would grow by 66.6 percent in 2022. According to the agency’s long-term forecast, shipments of foldable devices will reach 41.5 million units in 2026.
