The consequences of the reduction in the release of the iPad are named

Russian consumers will be oblivious to the slump in iPad production. Denis Kuskov, head of the information and analytical agency Telecom Daily, told RIA Novosti about the consequences of the decline in the production of tablets.

“I think that this will not bring any problems for users in Russia, iPads are much less bought than iPhones, so everything will be fine,” Kuskov said. According to the specialist, the tablet market lags far behind the smartphone market, so Apple’s decision to release more iPhones to the detriment of the iPad raises no questions.

Eldar Murtazin, a leading analyst at Mobile Research Group, said that disrupted supplies and shortages are becoming “the reality of our world.” Murtazin suggested that the situation with a deficit in the future could result in an increase in product prices.

Previously, Nikkei sources said Apple is cutting tablet production by 50 percent in favor of the iPhone. Apple decided to do so, as the company predicts increased demand for smartphones amid easing coronavirus restrictions around the world.
