Wccftech: Samsung will bundle smartphones in Brazil with a charging adapter
Samsung will release new flagship smartphones with a free charger. This is reported by the publication Wccftech.
Media journalists refer to the report of well-known insider Abhishek Yadav, who in his Twitter shared information about the future flagship Samsung. According to Yadav, the new foldable devices Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 have been certified in Brazil, where the devices will be equipped with a free charging adapter.
Thus, the Korean corporation can return the chargers to the set of flagships. Since recently, Samsung has been selling many smartphones with a simplified kit, explaining this by concern for the environment. Apple hasn’t boxed accessories with iPhone since 2020.
The journalists explained that such a decision by Samsung may be caused by pressure from the regulatory authorities in Brazil. “If Samsung does not comply with local laws, it is likely that the relevant authorities will impose a large fine on the manufacturer,” the authors noted. Experts admitted that the corporation may also return free chargers to a set of smartphones in other markets.
At the end of May, it became known that Samsung was going to sue in Brazil due to the sale of limited-edition smartphones. It is noted that Fortaleza city regulators have already fined Samsung and Apple for selling phones without a charging accessory.
