Marcin Horała: Construction will start next year

At the beginning of June, Marcin Horała, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Government Plenipotentiary for CPK, announced that the first construction works related to the Central Communication Port would begin next year. The opening of the largest airport in Poland is scheduled for 2027.

Horała said on TVN Info that several preparatory stages of this investment have already been completed, including the entire project of the new Polish transport system associated with the new airport. The environmental inventories for the entire investment area are also completed.

– An economic, technical and environmental study is currently underway for 1,300 kilometers. We will literally finish these works for the Łódź-Warsaw section at any moment. The airport master plan is also nearing completion, we will submit an application for an environmental decision this summer. We are finishing talks with the financing consortium and there will also be equity investors – he explained.
