The specialist said that new devices will be released earlier than usual due to the early release of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. According to Digital Chat Station, Qualcomm is producing the flagship chip ahead of schedule. The component will be manufactured by TSMC using a 4nm process. The insider noted that in addition to the top-end processor, smartphones will be distinguished by the presence of a Leica camera, stereo sound and moisture protection.
The journalists recalled that at the beginning of the year, the authoritative insider Ice Universe also predicted the release of Xiaomi 13 series devices. According to the specialist, the phones will come out with a thin body, a full-screen display with a resolution of 2K and support for a refresh rate of 120 hertz.
The Chinese company announced a series of flagship smartphones at the end of December. Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro devices received an AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, a triple camera.
