According to Navka, her daughter took third place in the competition. The girl received lower component scores than her rivals. At the same time, the judges explained that they had given low marks, since they considered Nadezhda’s performance as a PR of Navka’s new ice show “Swan Lake”. In particular, the arbiters did not like that the girl skated to the music from the ballet of the same name by Tchaikovsky. They also criticized the young figure skater’s costume.
“For a second, this dress is a small copy of Alina Zagitova’s dress, with which she won Olympic gold, and music is a great classic! I am, of course, pleased that the judges are aware of my new show and this music they associate not with ballet, but primarily with NavkaShow … But how to explain to a child why her points were lowered? ” – the former athlete was indignant.
