The tenth stage of Tour de France was neutralized for twelve minutes on Tuesday with 38 kilometers to go due to a protest that blocked the road.
The cyclists jumped to the ground by order of the organization after the Italian Alberto Bettiol (EF), who was leading the stage alone, went through an area where some people had set off flares.
The transalpine ran into a large pink smoke behind which there were several people sitting on the asphalt, and the same thing happened to the cyclists who were in pursuit of the Italian cyclist.

About seven activists in favor of the fight against change climate they had organized a protest action and were evicted by the French Gendarmerie.
bettiol He was riding with an advantage of 20 seconds over a group of 24 cyclists who made up the day’s breakaway and who had almost 7 and a half minutes ahead of the peloton.
The organization launched the stage again, respecting the differences in time that existed at the time of the interruption.
It is the first time that the Tour has been forced to neutralize a stage since it had to do so in 2019 due to a flood of water that invaded the road on the way to Tignesat stage 19.
