This Thursday, the Premier League released the calendar for the 2022/23 season. The opening match of the competition will be between Crystal Palace and Arsenalon the 5th of August, a Friday.
On Saturday, August 6, it will be the turn of three other members of the “big six” to debut. Vice-champion of the previous season, the Liverpool visit Fulham, recently promoted from the second division. Tottenham will play at home against Southampton, while Chelsea will face Everton, away from Stamford Bridge.
Finally, on Sunday, August 7, rivals Manchester will make their debuts. O citydefending champions, will travel to duel with West Ham, while unitedwith new manager Erik ten Hag, plays at Old Trafford against Brighton.
The first classic of the new season will be in the second round. Chelsea and Tottenham will meet at Stamford Bridge on the 13th of August, a Saturday.
The big Premier League clash in recent years, between Manchester City and Liverpool, also has a date. The first round will take place on October 15th at Anfield, while the second round will take place on April 1st next year at Etihad Stadium.
