This Sunday, in Pasaia, the rowing season returns. The regattas of the ARC 1 and ETE leagues will be broadcast by ETB1.
The I Flag of Hernani will open the day at 11:30 with the participation of the nine boats, two less than last year, that will compete in 2022 this second female step.
The novelties will be Hondarribia, relegated from the Euskotren League, Portugalete and Hernani while Deusto, Ondarroa, Castreña, Hibaika, Zarautz and Zumaia will repeat. They have caused Tolosaldea drop, promoted to the highest category, along with Isuntza, Lutxana, San Juan and Lapurdi.
Subsequently, at 12:15, ARC 1 will start with the XXII Ikurriña Kepa Deun Arrantzaleeen Kofradia with the presence of a dozen boats. Zarautz, relegated from the Eusko Label League, and those promoted from ARC 2 Busturialdea and Hondarribia B have been registered.
Arkote, Deusto, Camargo, Castro, Pedreña, San Juan, San Pedro and Zumaia continue in the category and compared to the previous year Kaiku and Getaria, who have risen to the rowing elite, are not registered, nor are the relegated Astillero and Lapurdi.
In the rest of the leagues, ARC 2 will start next day 25 in San Juan de Luz and the first two divisions, the men’s Eusko Label and the women’s Euskotren will do so on July 2 in Bilbao.
