After three consecutive victories, Inter Miami lived a nightmarish afternoon on Saturday at the New England Revolution, as they lost 2-0, suffered two expulsions and their striker Leonardo Campana was injured.

The Ecuadorian striker, who has scored five goals this MLS season, had to leave the field in the 12th minute due to muscle problems and was replaced by Colombian Emerson Rodríguez.
Campana’s injury is another problem for a battered Inter Miami offense in which the Argentine Gonzalo Higuain was also unable to play on Saturday due to physical discomfort in last week’s game against Atlanta United.
Inter Miami came into their duel against the New England Revolution with good feelings after winning three games in a row, but their match this Saturday started badly as Damián Rivera scored the first goal when only 52 seconds had been played.
Adam Buksa, with a header, sentenced in the 64th minute a game that Inter Miami ended with nine players due to the expulsions for double yellow of its two center backs: the Jamaican Damion Lowe and the Bolivian Jairo Quinteros.
The New England Revolution and Inter Miami now have 10 points and both are currently out of playoff spots in a closely contested MLS Eastern Conference. (D)
