Euskaraz irakurri: 2022ko Itzulia Women laskerketako 2. stage in profila eta ibilbidea: Mallabia – Mallabia (118.3 km)
The second day will depart from Mallabia and will end in the same Biscayan town after completing a 118.3-kilometre route where the cyclists of the international squad must go through up to six mountainous difficulties: Areitio (3rd category, 3.5 kilometers at 5.4% gradient) | Muniketa (3rd category, 2.9 kilometers at 7.3%), Biscay balcony (3rd category, 2 kilometers at 4.3%), Merelludi (Milloi) (3rd category, 3.5 kilometers at 4%), Trabakua (3rd category, 3.3 kilometers at 7.1%), karabieta (1st category, 6.7 kilometers at 5.6%).
The hardest climb of the stage, and practically of the entire race, will undoubtedly be the karabieta, from the top of which there will be barely 12 kilometers to the finish line. In addition, as happened the day before, the end of the day will also be demanding and will end up biting upwards, which could be definitive to elucidate, among other things, the stage victory.
The stage can be seen live on ETB1 Y eitb.eus starting at 12:00.
