Euskaraz irakurri: 2022ko Itzulia Women laskerketako 1. stage in profila eta ibilbidea: Gasteiz – Bastida (105.9 km)
The first stage of Itzulia Women will unite Vitoria-Gasteiz with labastidain Rioja Alavesa, along 105.9 kilometers in which the participants will have to climb three scoring heights.
The first of them will be Zaldiarán (3rd category, 4.4 kilometers at an average gradient of 4.5%) as soon as you leave the capital of Alava. Halfway through the journey will be the Rivas viewpoint (2nd category, 5.5 kilometers at 5.4, % of average slope) to then chain with the ascent to blacksmith (3rd category, 6.8 kilometers at 5.3% average gradient) from the top of which begins a descending but uncomfortable route.
The final part of the day will be full of ups and downs. In addition, the last kilometer before reaching the finish line also tends upwards, and has a very short section, about 25 meters, which reaches a 20% drop.
