Cristiano Ronaldo scores penalty as United beat Brentford in English

Manchester United hosted Brentford this Monday and won 3-0, in their last game in front of the crowd of the season, in the Premier League. Despite the triumph, the team no longer has a chance of qualifying for the Champions League and seeks to confirm a spot in the Europa League, ranking sixth with 58 points.

In a good game by Ralf Rangnick’s team, the hosts won without great difficulties, with a goal from Bruno Fernandes, Cristiano Ronaldo, from a penalty, and Varane. In addition, the game marked the farewell of veteran Juan Mata, who will leave the club at the end of the season.

United’s next and penultimate match of the season is against Brighton. The game takes place next Saturday, at 1:30 pm (Brasília time), at Falmer Stadium.
