midfielder David Silva will continue one more season wearing the shirt of the Real society after the txuri-urdin club has made public the renewal of the player until 2023.
The two parties have agreed to extend the two-year contract that he signed Silva upon arriving at the San Sebastian club, in the summer of 2020, after two good seasons despite the injuries that the Canarian player has suffered.
Real Sociedad has communicated the extension of the contract in a statement in which it assures that the midfielder “has been fundamental in lifting the Cup title, obtaining the European passport last year and having his passport oriented”.
In addition, the San Sebastian club has highlighted “the commitment and loyalty” shown by the player towards Real Sociedad, as well as his “complete identification with the txuri-urdin project”.
Silvafor his part, has been “happy” to expand the relationship with the San Sebastian entity, and has added that it has been “easy for him to make the decision with a club and fans like Real”.
