Tatyana Navka supported the celebration of Halloween in Russia

Olympic champion in figure skating, wife of the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov Tatyana Navka spoke about the celebration of Halloween in Russia. The couple’s children love to celebrate this date, Navka admitted on her Instagram.

Navka said that the children in the family like to prepare for Halloween, because they need to come up with an image, outfit, role, show their artistic abilities, and also look for something new. She supported the holiday and noted that preparing for it helps children to show their creativity in a playful way.

The skater added that Halloween is not “a celebration of our culture.” However, it provides an additional opportunity to bring children and adults together.

“And an important nuance, in my opinion, dressing up in these scary characters helps children overcome their fears! Just like fairy tales once helped children to distinguish good from evil! ” – concluded Navka.

The athlete noted that she does not call on anyone to celebrate this holiday, but simply shares “her opinion and a piece of our cheerful mood.”

Earlier, the priest explained to the Russians the harm of Halloween. According to Archpriest Maximus Pervozvansky, this holiday distorts the traditional perception of good and evil.
