Aitor Karanka is the new coach of Granada until the end of this season. The Basque coach will lead the Andalusian team in the last six games of LaLiga Santander and with the objective of achieving permanence.
Karanka picks up the team after matchday 32, and Granada is out of relegation, but tied on points (29) with a Mallorca team that occupies a relegation place in LaLiga SmartBank.
“I arrive very excited. The team has quality. I will try to transmit this illusion to the squad to try to achieve the goal of permanencea”, Karanka assured in his presentation.
The Basque Aitor Karanka is the Granada’s third coach this season after Robert Moreno and Rubén Torrecilla. This Tuesday, April 19, he has been presented and has directed his first training session. It will be released this Wednesday in the match against Atlético de Madrid.
