Bryan Angulo, an Ecuadorian striker who signed for Santos FC in Brazil, has already had his first training session with the squad coached by Fabián Bustos, former Barcelona SC coach.
The tricolor attacker arrived in Brazilian territory on Saturday to finalize his relationship with the club, after having reached an agreement with his former team, Cruz Azul from Mexico.
After passing the respective medical and physical checkups, Angulo spoke with Santos’ digital media and did not hide his happiness at reaching this squad.
“The truth is that I am very happy, with great desire, with great enthusiasm to reach a big club like Santos and the history it has, I am very happy to be here,” said the striker.
“I can tell the fans to expect a good performance from me and also many goals, that with God’s blessing that will be the case,” added Angulo.
Regarding his departure from the Mexican team, the player appreciated the facilities he had from Cruz Azul and his coach Juan Reynoso.
“I spoke with the leadership (Aztec) and with the coach (Reynoso), he behaved very well to let me out, I was happy and very excited when I found out that Santos was interested in me and I did my best to be here,” he said. nicknamed Cuckoo.
In conversation with the Mexican press, Reynoso confessed that the Ecuadorian “was not going through a good time” and therefore he was given the facilities to leave.
