U.S. Olympian Hope Solo arrested for drunk driving and kids in car
Former US national football team goaltender Hope Solo has been arrested for drunk driving. It is reported by TMZ.
The 40-year-old former football player was detained on March 31. Solo was driving under the influence of alcohol. There were two children in the car. The two-time Olympic champion resisted arrest. She was arrested and taken to the Forsyth County Jail.
Solo faces charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, resisting arrest and child abuse. The athlete has already been released from custody pending trial.
Solo got in trouble with the law. She was arrested for domestic violence and threats against a law enforcement officer.
Solo won two Olympic gold medals as a member of the US team and became the world champion. She played 202 matches in the national team.
