Figure skater Valieva commented on the victory in the Grand Prix

Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva, who set two world records at once at the second stage of the Grand Prix series in Canada, commented on her victory. Her words are quoted by TASS.

The 15-year-old athlete said she intends to improve the quality of her programs. At a press conference after the tournament, she said that the main task for her was to fulfill everything that was planned in the program. In doing so, she admitted that there were small blots that she intends to work on.

“I am happy with such assessments. I will try to skate a little better, to fulfill the task, and about the marks – it will be decided by the judges, ”the figure skater noted.

Earlier it became known that Valieva received 180.89 points for the free program, gaining a total of 265.08 points. She set two world records: in the free skating program and in total points in women’s single skating.

Previous records also belonged to her: she set them on October 10 at the Finlandia Trophy tournament in Espoo, Finland. This is Valieva’s first season at the adult level.
