Coach of “Spartak” said about the brutality of football after a lost victory in an RPL match

The head coach of Spartak Moscow Rui Vitoria commented on the draw with Rostov in the match of the 13th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL). His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

The Portuguese specialist spoke about the brutality of football after his team missed the victory in the last minutes of the match. “Football is cruel, we may not have had a grain of luck, and that’s why what happened happened,” he stressed.

On October 30, Spartak drew 1: 1 with Rostov. In the 78th minute, the goal was scored by the midfielder of the red and white Ruslan Litvinov. Midfielder Danil Glebov equalized on the 95th.

Thus, the red and white remain without victories for four matches in a row. Prior to that, the team played in a draw with the capital “Dynamo” and suffered a crushing defeat from St. Petersburg “Zenith” in the RPL, and also lost to the English “Leicester” in the Europa League.

After 13 rounds, Spartak is in eighth place with 18 points. Rostov is in 12th place with 13 points.
