UFC fighters Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington fight in a restaurant in Miami
American mixed martial artists (MMA) Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington got into a fight in a restaurant in Miami. Fansided reports.
Fox Sports 640 reporter Andy Slater was the first to report on the conflict between Covington and Masvidal, which escalated into a fight at a Papi Steak restaurant. According to him, the police were called to this address.
The fight itself did not appear on the net. However, shortly after news of the collision, Masvidal, 37, posted a video urging Covington to show his face.
On March 5, the Americans held a duel as part of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) tournament. Then Covington celebrated the victory by unanimous decision. Masvidal suffered his third defeat in a row. Prior to that, he fought twice with current UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman.
Masvidal and Covington have been friends in the past. In 2011, the fighters met at the American Top Team Gym in 2011.
