Ecuadorian wrestler Cristhian Rivas will have his second fight in the Ultimate Warrior Challenge Mexico (UWC) cage this Friday, March 25 in Tijuana, Baja California, when he faces Colombian Juan Pablo Mendoza in the co-main event of the UWC 32 event.

Rivas, who represented Ecuador at the UWC 29 event in October 2021, is 5-1-1 in professional mixed martial arts (MMA) after debuting in 2016.

The fighter from Manta, Manabí, will clash against coffee grower Mendoza (4-3-0) in a bantamweight duel that will qualify for the 135-pound championship.

In Olympic wrestling, Rivas won national titles on multiple occasions representing Manabí. He was a Pan American and South American champion, attended world championships and several international competitions defending the colors of Ecuador.

The main fight of UWC 32, agreed at 160 pounds, will be starred by the Mexican Alejandro Sánchez (11-3-0) and the Colombian Stiven Valencia (4-1-0).

In flyweight combat, Fernanda Muñoz (3-2-0), from Colombia, returns to face Nadine Mandiau (1-3-0), from Belgium, and from the Victory MMA and 10th Planet team.

UWC 32 will take place on Friday, March 25, with broadcasts starting from main card at 5:00 p.m. local time (8:00 p.m. in Ecuador) through UFC Fight Pass, with a total of seven fights scheduled at the Entram Gym, in Tijuana, Baja California. (D)
