Scorer of the goal that gave Arsenal victory against Aston Villa last Saturday, in the Premier League, midfielder Bukayo Saka could define his future soon.
According to the Daily Mail, the London club will propose a contract renewal to the athlete in the coming days.
At just 20 years old, the English player was revealed by Arsenal himself. Since joining the first team in 2019, Saka has played 121 matches, scored 21 goals and provided 27 assists for the club.
The athlete’s current link with the Gunners runs until June 2024, but the club wants to extend the deal to stave off interest from potential rivals.
Despite his young age, the midfielder also plays for the England national team. For his country, he has already played 14 games.
Seen as one of the most important pieces of the team led by Mikel Arteta, Saka scored the goal that took Arsenal to 54 points and fourth in the Premier League.
Now, the Gunners return to the field on April 4, when they face Crystal Palace, away from home, in a match valid for the 31st round of the English Championship.
