In the finals the Polish women were run by Natalia Kaczmarek, Iga Baumgart-Witan, Kinga Gacka and Justyna ¦wiêty-Ersetic. In the relay race there was one change in relation to the semi-finals – Gacka replaced Aleksandra Gaworska.

Natalia Kaczmarek started quite sluggishly, so after the first shift, the Polish women were on the verge of third and fourth place. The competition for medals was fought between them and the Americans, the Dutch and Jamaica. It was like that practically until the very end, but the ending Justyna Święta Ersetic managed to overtake the American and was very close to silver, but at the finish line the titled Dutch Femke Bol was pressed in front of her after the inside, which was faster by only 0.02 seconds. Polish women won a bronze medal.

With time 3: 28.40, Jamaica unexpectedly won, which in the qualifying rounds were weaker than the Polish women, but just behind them the Dutch, Polish and American women fell practically at the same time. “Anio³ki Matusiñskiego” ended the competition with a bronze medal. The first four relay runs were within 0.23 seconds, and the difference between the silver Dutch and the Americans who did not have a medal was only 0.06 seconds.
