Chelsea, at the head of the Premier League; Liverpool draw and Manchester City lose

Chelsea strengthened their lead thanks to their 3-0 victory at Newcastle and the stumbling blocks of their closest pursuers, as Liverpool (2nd) drew 2-2 at home with Brighton and Manchester City (3rd) fell 2-0 also at home against Crystal Palace, this Saturday.

The 10th day of the Premier League has therefore been very positive for Chelsea, who now have 3 points more than Liverpool and 5 points more than Manchester City.

Chelsea’s game at Saint-James’ Park was solid.
