Lobato (Euskaltel) wins the 5th stage and Aular (Caja Rural) takes the general

the corridor of Euskaltel-Euskadi Juan José Lobato has been the fastest in the 5th and last stage of the Alentejo Volta 2022.

The day started from Castelo de Vide and ended in Évora (171.9km) and the Cadiz runner Lobato arrived with a second advantage over Daniel Freitas (Popular Radio – Paredes – Boavista) and Joao Matias (Tavfer-Mortágua-Ovos Matin).

In the general there have been no changes compared to yesterday and the victory has been taken Orluis Aular (Rural Fund – RGA Insurance); 5 seconds left Xabier Mikel Azparren from Euskaltel-Euskadi and third has been Joseph Neves (W52 / FC Porto) at 24 seconds.
