British fighter Muhammad Mokaev thanked Dagestan after winning his debut fight in the UFC
British mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter of Dagestan origin Muhammad Mokaev commented on the victory in his debut fight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). His words are reported by Championship.com.
“I love you UK and thank you very much Dagestan. I love you all,” Mokaev thanked. He recalled how in 2018 he wrote to UFC head Dana White that he would be performing in the promotion for four years. “This message is still in your direct, Dana, check it out. And here I am, ”the athlete shared.
On March 19, 21-year-old Mokaev defeated American Cody Durden. He forced the 30-year-old opponent to surrender in 58 seconds. The fight took place in London as part of the UFC Fight Night 204 tournament.
Mokaev is known for his performances in the Brave FC organization. In professional MMA, he won seven victories in seven fights.
