Torino loses to Genoa and reaches eight games without a win

This Friday, the Torino lost to Genoa, away from home, by 1 to 0, for the 30th round of the Italian Championship. Manolo Portanova, in the 14th minute of the first half, scored the only goal at Estádio Luigi Ferraris. The home team still played with one less from 24 onwards, when Leo Ostigard took the second yellow card and was sent off.

With the setback, the Turin team has eight matches without a win, but sleeps in 11th place in Serie A, with 35 points. The club from Genoa, which has 22, remains in the penultimate position.

Torino returns to the field on April 3, after the FIFA Date, when they face Salernitana away from home. Genoa also plays away from home on the same day, when they face Verona.

Sassuolo goleia Spezia

Also this Friday, playing at home, Sassuolo beat Spezia, at the Mapei Stadium, by 4-1. From a penalty, Domenico Berardi opened the scoring in the 17th minute of the first half, but saw the visitors equal in the 36th minute, with Simone Verdi.

In the complementary stage, the home team turned the tie into a rout. At 48, Berardi scored the second and, half an hour later, Kaan Ayhan scored the third. To close the score, top scorer Gianluca Scamacca scored the fourth goal at 36.

The Sassuolo of Matheus Henrique, formerGuild and who was a starter, sleeps in 9th place in Serie A, has 43 points and returns to the field on April 3, when he visits Lazio. Spezia, who have 29 points, are in 15th position and host Venezia on the same day.
