This is what the Champions League ladder looks like. When are the games?

On Wednesday, we met the last two quarter-finalists of this year’s edition. Thanks to this, it was known which eight teams would be involved in the Friday draw. A few very interesting duels could be expected, and in fact it happened.

Pairs were drawn in the Champions League

The winner of last year’s Champions League, Chelsea will fight for promotion to the semi-finals with. “The Blues” reached this stage thanks to eliminating Lille (4: 1 on aggregate), while “Królewski” after emotional meetings defeated PSG (3-2 on aggregate).

The second pair will be created by the current champions of England and Spain, i.e. The team of Pep Guardiola in the 1/8 finals dealt with Sporting Lisbon without any problems (5: 0), while “Rojiblancos” eliminated Manchester United (2: 1).

The revelation of the game, so Villarreal will face. The Spanish team made quite a surprise, eliminating Juventus in the 1/8 finals (4: 1 on aggregate). The Bavarians, in turn, smashed Red Bull Salzburg in aggregate as much as 8: 2.

The last pair will be made by Benfica and. The Portuguese team managed the previous round with Ajax Amsterdam, winning 3-2 on aggregate. The Reds, on the other hand, had to tremble until the last minutes of the tie against Inter Milan, which ended in their favor 2: 1.
