The Ecuadorian Football Federation (FEF) published this Thursday night the list of players summoned by the National Team for the next duels against Paraguay (Thursday March 24) and Argentina (Tuesday 29) in the last two days of the South American qualifying round for the World Cup in Qatar 2022.
The call by goalkeeper Jorge Pinos and midfielders Danny Cabezas and Romario Ibarra is surprisingunusual in the process of coach Gustavo Alfaro with the Tricolor.
The experienced goalkeeper and captain Alexander DomÃnguez, who is suspended due to his expulsion in the game against Brazil (date 15), is not on the list.
There are 28 soccer players cited by Alfaro for the closing of the World Cup.
La Tri will first visit Ciudad del Este to collide with La Albirroja, in a game that the visit can seal the ticket for Qatar 2022. Days later, the Ecuadorian team will host Lionel Messi’s team at the Barcelona Sporting Club stadium in Guayaquil.
