RMC Sport: Messi has decided to stay at PSG despite the club’s relegation from the Champions League
Argentine striker Lionel Messi wants to stay at Paris Saint-Germain. It is reported by RMC Sport.
The footballer does not want to leave the club in the summer transfer window, despite being eliminated from the Champions League. Messi is disappointed with the result, but believes he can win the tournament with PSG. The player is sure to return to the previous level, because he recovered from injuries and went through a period of adaptation.
Earlier on March 14, it became known that Messi could return to Barcelona. Jorge Messi, the striker’s father and agent, met with representatives of the Catalan club to discuss the player’s transfer.
On March 10, PSG lost to Real Madrid in the second leg of the 1/8 finals of the Champions League with a score of 1:3. In the first meeting, PSG beat Real Madrid 1-0. Both goals for the Parisians were scored by Kylian Mbappe.
