The Voltaire Paladines Polo Coliseum facilities will host The JiuJitsu League 2022, three international tournaments that will qualify for The JiuJitsu League Grand Prix 2022.
Grand Prix ’22, is an invitational where the sum of the best scores of the three qualifying tournaments will be considered, in which the three athletes with the highest score in each category participate in all the adult and masters belts (female and male), who They will compete to be the super champion. They will be awarded financial prizes.
The JiuJitsu League 2022, the tournament league, is organized by Nova JiuJitsu Org, and is supported by the Guayas JiuJitsu Association and the Guayas Provincial Sports Federation.
Carlos Ibáñez, principal of Nova JiuJitsu Org, together with Fawel Abramowicz Ricaurte, president of the JiuJitsu Association of Guayas, received the recognition of ambassadors of the city, by the city council, for the work done in the organization of The Jiujitsu League 01, held on November 27, 2021.
“This will be a great year full of high level and competitive jiujitsu, we know that we will have many more registered and with greater foreign participation than in our first edition, and thus we will fulfill our goal of making Guayaquil a point of reference for Latin American Jiujitsu” Ibanez said.
The three qualifying tournaments are: The JiuJitsu League 02, to be held on April 9; The JiuJitsu League 03, which will take place on July 2; and The JiuJitsu League 04, which will take place on September 24. These events give way to The JiuJitsu League 2002, which is scheduled for November 26. (D)
