UFC fighter Pavlovich admitted that he was not happy with the fight against Shamil Abdulrakhimov
Russian mixed martial artist (MMA) Sergey Pavlovich spoke about the upcoming fight against compatriot Shamil Abdulrakhimov. His words are reported by Championship.com.
The heavyweight admitted that he was not happy with the confrontation with another Russian at the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) tournament. Pavlovich recalled that he had already had to give up the fight with Abdulrakhimov. “They refused because they knew each other. We trained together. But now the moment has come. There are no options left,” he added.
Pavlovich and Abdulrakhimov will fight at the UFC tournament in London, which is scheduled for March 19. In the main event of the evening, Russian heavyweight Alexander Volkov and Briton Tom Aspinall will meet.
In October 2019, Pavlovich defeated Maurice Greene. This is his last fight in the UFC. In total, Pavlovich has 14 victories with a single defeat.
