One of the main Real Madrid signings in recent years, midfielder Eden Hazard is still unable to fulfill the expectations generated since he arrived in Spanish football.
With the player’s instability on the pitch, rumors about a possible transfer are spread in the European press.
According to Foot Mercato, Arsenal have contacted Hazard and made a proposal for the player to transfer at the end of this season. Also according to the portal, the Belgian midfielder is one of coach Mikel Arteta’s priorities to reinforce the Gunners.
If the deal happens, Hazard could return to the league that projected him to world football. Before arriving at Real Madrid, the athlete shone with the Chelsea shirt, playing in the Premier League.
Revealed by Lille, the player arrived at the English club in 2012 and, after eight seasons, was acquired by the Merengues, in 2019, for the amount of 150 million euros.
