MMA fighter Kharitonov wanted to fight Alexander Emelianenko on bare fists without a judge
Russian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Sergei Kharitonov challenged Alexander Emelianenko. It is reported by “Match TV”.
The athlete suggested that the opponent fight on bare fists without a referee. “The rules are not to hit in the groin, not to poke in the eyes, but so that there is no referee nearby and we were given at least 20 minutes of fighting without stopping. I want such a fight so that someone stays lying down, ”Kharitonov added.
The 41-year-old athlete expressed confidence that such a fight would be of interest to many people. “I think such a format of the fight could be organized – only one will leave the cage,” the Russian added.
Kharitonov had 41 MMA fights with 31 wins and eight losses. Two more fights were declared invalid. In 2006, the athlete lost to Alexander Emelianenko by knockout. The 40-year-old fighter has 38 fights, 28 wins, nine losses and one draw.
