Coach Tarasova called Norway’s proposal to admit juniors and children to tournaments reasonable
Honored coach of the USSR in figure skating Tatyana Tarasova appreciated Norway’s proposal to make an exception in the removal of Russian athletes from international competitions. Her words are quoted by TASS.
The specialist called it a reasonable proposal to allow Russian children and juniors to start. “Where should we go next? This should be asked of those who cancel our participation in international competitions, they do not ask us. We both worked and will continue to work, ”said Tarasova.

On March 2, Norway stated that it supported the disqualification of Russian and Belarusian athletes, but called for juniors and children to be allowed to compete. In their opinion, mass sports should develop in Russia.
On February 28, the International Olympic Committee called for the non-admission of Russian and Belarusian athletes to participate in international competitions. After that, most of the sports federations of the world refused to allow the Russians and Belarusians to the tournaments.
