Fiorentina does not intend to lease the Russian forward of the club Alexander Kokorin in the next transfer window. It is reported by Sport24.
Violet sports director Daniele Prade denied rumors about the striker’s imminent departure from the club. “The information in the media does not correspond to reality,” the functionary said.
Earlier on October 29, La Gazzetta dello Sport announced Fiorentina’s plans to lease Kokorin. It was argued that the club intends to find a replacement for the 30-year-old Russian.
This season, Kokorin, against the background of injuries, took part in three matches in Serie A. In all meetings, the striker came on as a substitute. Kokorin’s salary in the Italian team is 1.8 million euros per year.
Kokorin is known for his performances for Russian clubs: Dynamo, Zenit, Sochi and Spartak. From 2011 to 2017, he was involved in games for the Russian national team.
