Members of organized cheerleading PSG demanded the resignation of the club’s board, a request that comes for the first time since the arrival at the French club of the owners Qatar in 2011, after the new “disappointment” suffered on Wednesday in the round of 16 of the Champions League against Real Madrid (1-0 and 1-3).
“Direction Démission” wrote the Coletivo Ultras Paris (CUP) after this new early elimination in European football’s premier club competition, appealing on Twitter to fans to join them in “showing our discontent”, “no violence”, during the Ligue 1 game against Bordeaux on Sunday.
“We know that our return (among the greats) is due to President Nasser Al-Khelaifi, there is nothing personal, but it is a fact that he is not the man for the job. The club’s situation needs a reorganization from now on. at all levels and the daily presence of the president”, indicates in a statement the CUP, which brings together different groups of ‘ultras’ from PSG.
The CUP also criticizes the absence of a game project at the club and the policy of sporting director Leonardo, with “a lot of stars who have little or nothing in common”, alluding to last summer’s European market, in which PSG signed Lionel Messi, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Sergio Ramos and Georginio Wijnaldum.

The players do not escape criticism from this group of fans, who denounce that they compete in national competitions “with reluctance”, as well as their lack of proximity to the fans.
The Parisian team leads Ligue 1 with 62 points, 13 more than second-placed Nice.
