MMA fighter Rizvan Kuniev defeated American Hamilton at the Eagle FC 46 tournament
Russian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Rizvan Kuniev defeated American Anthony Hamilton in the co-main bout of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Eagle FC 46 league tournament. The video is available on the organization’s Instagram.
The fight took place on the night of March 12 in Miami, USA. The Russian athlete defeated his opponent by choke hold in the first round. Thus, Kuniev defended the heavyweight title.
The 30-year-old Kuniev now has 11 wins, two losses, and another fight with his participation ended in a draw. Hamilton, 41, has suffered his 11th loss in 29 career fights.
Eagle FC is based on Gorilla FC. In November 2020, Nurmagomedov became the owner of the promotion and rebranded it. Nurmagomedov is a former UFC lightweight champion. He ended his career in the fall of 2020.
