The Copa Sudamericana, a parallel tournament to the Libertadores and which also brings together several of the best teams on the continent, will award prizes between 250 thousand dollars and 5 million dollars, the latter to the champion.

The monarch will take one million more than last year, as part of the greater incentive for those who can fight for the final.
The prizes exceed 60 million dollars given to all the teams that play from a direct phase with rivals from the same country, to those that go to the group phase and then are eliminated until they reach the final instances.
Those who start in the first stage, round trip, will get 250 thousand dollars, while in the group stage each team will have a million of the same currency.
Later, those who go to the round of 16 will earn an additional 550,000 and if they make it to the quarterfinals, they will get an additional 650,000.
The four teams that reach the semifinal will win 950 thousand and those that reach the final will be divided as follows: two million for the runner-up and 5 million for the champion.
