De Telegraaf: Spartak football player Quincy Promes is suspected of drug trafficking
Spartak Moscow striker Quincy Promes was suspected of drug trafficking and participation in a criminal organization. This is reported by De Telegraaf, citing sources close to the investigation.
According to the source, Promes and his relatives invested in a shipment of cocaine weighing four thousand kilograms, but the drugs were seized by the Dutch police in April 2020. The cost of the party is estimated at 120 million euros. It is noted that cocaine could be sold more expensive on the black market.
Last November, Promes was charged with attempted murder. It was reported that the athlete is suspected of stabbing a relative at a party in July 2020.
The Dutchman returned to Spartak in February 2021. The striker has scored five goals in 15 matches in all competitions this season.
