The Argentine goalkeeper Javier Burrai came to Barcelona SC for the 2020 season and today he becomes one of the figures in the Professional Soccer League of Ecuador (LigaPro) and the Libertadores Cup of America, where he completes four consecutive games without conceding a goal and adds twelve with those characteristics in the regional competition.
Burrai, 31, came to the yellow team after paying $200,000 to terminate his contract with the team. Macara from Ambatoa squad he arrived at in 2018 and with which he had signed a three-year contract.
The goalkeeper debuted with the yellow box at the international level in the 0-1 win against Progreso, from Uruguay, on January 22, 2020, for the first phase of the Copa Libertadores; while for the Ecuadorian championship he did it on February 16, 2020 in the 0-0 draw that Barcelona SC reached, as a local, against University Technician for the first date of the national tournament.
