The premier league announced this Tuesday that it decided to break the television agreements with the Russian operators for the broadcast of its matches in that country and donate one million pounds (1,312,480.00 dollars) to those affected by the war in Ukraine.

The Premier League and the 20 clubs in the competition unanimously agreed to suspend the contract and donate to Ukraineafter a weekend in which there have been gestures of support for the country among the players in the league.
