The company SuperTicket announced this Monday afternoon that it has resolved in conjunction with the Ecuadorian Football Federation (FEF) to temporarily suspend until Wednesday, March 9, the sale of tickets for the match of the last day of the tie to Qatar-2022 World Cup between Ecuador and Argentina because problems persist on the hinchennials.fef.ec website.
The impossibility for fans to enter the site to purchase tickets for the match on the 18th between the Tricolor and the Albiceleste -which will be played at 6:30 p.m. on March 30 at the Monumental Banco Pichincha stadium- was reported by the FEF itself this morning.
Hundreds of fans showed their discomfort on the social network Twitter due to this inconvenience, since many tried to register from 00:00 on Monday and were unsuccessful.
SuperTicket reported that “due to the inconveniences that have not yet been resolved, we have resolved together with the FEF to temporarily suspend ticket sales until Wednesday, March 9.”
Likewise, the company explained that the service they provide to the FEF for the sale of tickets “had problems related to updates made with the aim of improving the user experience and ease of purchase.”
It justifies that before the start of ticket sales virtually “joint technical tests were carried out with the FEF which were carried out successfully.”
However, SuperTicket acknowledges, the problems have not yet been resolved.
The FEF in a release statement published: “We apologize for the technical inconveniences presented by our page www.hinchennials.fef.ec due to the large number of people trying to purchase their tickets, which collapsed our servers.”
The entity reported that depending on the availability of tickets, from March 21 the sale will be enabled in person. (D)
