Page is saturated to buy tickets for the Ecuador-Argentina match; FEF justifies technical failure

The Ecuadorian Football Federation (FEF) published a statement on its social networks due to the impossibility for fans to enter its portal to purchase tickets for the match on date 18 between Ecuador and Argentinawhich will be played at 6:30 p.m. on March 30 at the Banco Pichincha Monumental Stadium.

Hundreds of fans showed their discomfort on social networks due to this inconvenience, since many tried to register from 00:00 this Monday and failed.

One of them, Amir Tahmasebi, on his account @Amir_Y2J wrote: “How is it possible that since the presale began an entire block has already been reserved in Tribuna? (…) All the people wake up at dawn and follow their servers with inconsistencies. I have not been able to pay for the tickets and one of them did not register. Terrible planning” (partially corrected tweet, as well as the following).

There were also complaints due to the fact that tickets were already sold inside the FEF. In the account @Fer_Ramirez96 it was written “Why a certain amount of tickets was enabled for FEF workers? I guess that’s why.”

another fan, Miguel Quimi, in his account @Miguel_11q he detailed: “That page was down all morning, people did not sleep to buy their tickets and now to choose the seats it turns out that almost everything is reserved. What is that, FEF?

However, the Twitter account @xiomaradelatorre shows that the sale of tickets began in person at the FEF building for the elderly and disabled. “Fans of the tricolor have also approached presenting claims for not being able to acquire on-line. The answer? Wait 30 minutes to be able to buy”, details the publication, without clarifying whether they can be purchased on the same site or online.

The FEF in its release statement published: “We apologize for any technical inconvenience that presents our page hinchennials.fef.ec due to the large turnout of people trying to purchase their tickets, which crashed our servers.”

He adds: “Once it is over, we will continue with the sale of tickets, according to the planning. Thanks for your understanding”. (D)
