The 21-year-old joined the English team in 2020 from Saint-Étienne, the club for which he was revealed. Since arriving at Leicester, Fofana has played 38 matches and won an FA Cup.
“I am very happy to sign a new contract. It shows that the club trusts me by offering me a contract until 2027. I am very happy to be here. It’s my club, I love the fans, so I’m very happy and looking forward to playing again”, declared the defender, in an interview given to the club’s official channel.
This Thursday, Leicester enters the field to face Rennes, at King Power Stadium, for the first leg of the round of 16 of the Conference League.
