Newcastle prepares millionaire offer for Bayer Leverkusen striker Moussa Diaby

After being acquired by a Saudi Arabian investment fund, Newcastle United, the Premier League’s Premier League team, began a real overhaul of its squad.

Thinking about the next season, the club has already signed important names, such as Bruno Guimarães, Kieran Trippier, Chris Wood, among others. However, despite these reinforcements, Newcastle has not stopped looking at the market. The target of the time is the striker Moussa Diaby, from Bayer Leverkusen.

According to the British newspaper Daily Mail, the English club will make an offer of 50 million euros to the young French athlete. At just 22 years old, the player has a contract with Leverkusen until June 2025.

Highlight of the German team, this season alone he played 31 matches, scored 15 goals and provided nine assists.

Revealed by Paris Saint-Germain, Diaby arrived at Bayer Leverkusen in 2019, when he was bought outright for 15 million euros.

Despite Newcastle’s strong interest, the Daily Mail cites that the German club must ask for at least around 75 million euros, close to the amount Chelsea paid to sign Kai Havertz from the team in 2019.
